Volume XII, Number 10
Dear Readers,
This is your September 2012
edition of “The Aquarian”.
The article “Renunciation
Is Freedom” opens the journal suggesting that “there is something to
learn from each new Autumn”.
The Aquarian goes
on with a brief view of Life as a laboratory for searching for truth,
and also for sharing, checking and correcting the results of such an effort as
they emerge.
“A Lever to Change
the World” examines the necessary balance between self-reform and
world-reform.
On page four the readers
can see “A Point in the Boundless Circle”, by Helena P.
Blavatsky. Albert Einstein’s article “Religion
and Science: Irreconcilable?” shows that a proper combination of these
two fields of knowledge can deliver people from the scourge of competitive
spirit.
At pages 7-8, a 1948 article from the Point Loma Society
examines the process of spreading theosophical teachings. The issue of “mystical powers” is discussed in
the article “How to Develop Occult Powers”: the Noble Eightfold
Path of Buddhism has something to say about that. This 14 pp. edition closes
with the articles “Universal Brotherhood Still a Puzzle” (p. 11)
and “The Original Movement in Italy” (p.13).
Best regards,
The Editors
